Legal
Cookie policy.
We only set non-essential storage after you accept the analytics category in our cookie banner. Until then, nothing below is stored or sent. This page lists everything either way, so you know exactly what you are agreeing to.
Strictly necessary
- cc_cookie: remembers your consent choice (categories and
timestamp). First-party, about 6 months. Set on
.scilla.studio, so one choice covers both scilla.studio and benchmark.scilla.studio.
Analytics (only after consent)
We run two analytics tools side by side, PostHog and Mixpanel, both hosted in the EU. Neither one starts, and neither one is contacted, until you accept.
- PostHog: product analytics and session recording. Sets a
first-party cookie (
ph_phc_…_posthog, about 365 days, scoped to.scilla.studio) and localStorage keys. Session recording is on, so we can watch how visitors actually use the site, and every input field is masked before it ever leaves your browser. EU data residency. - Mixpanel: product analytics. Sets a first-party cookie, also
scoped to
.scilla.studio, so the same anonymous visit can be recognised on the benchmark tool at benchmark.scilla.studio too. EU data residency. Anonymous; we never attach your name or email to an analytics event.
Forms
Two forms on this site collect your email, only when you choose to submit them. That is information you volunteer, not tracking, but a complete policy mentions it:
- Case-study requests: asking for the full write-up behind a case study sends your email to us via Netlify Forms, so Joni can follow up personally.
- Newsletter signup: the “Get notified” form on Insights sends your email straight to Buttondown, our newsletter provider, which handles double opt-in and unsubscribing.
You can withdraw consent anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer. This stops all capture immediately.
