Your team ships steadily. Whether it moves the business is the open question.
Book 20 min with Joni →A 30-minute talk for leadership teams and boards. It is free. We come in, lay out where product-led growth earns its keep and where it doesn’t, and give the room one shared way to tell the difference. By the end, leadership and the product teams are working from the same picture of what counts as progress.
Why this talk
Plenty of teams ship on schedule, quarter after quarter, and the product works. The harder question is whether any of it is moving the business. When success is measured by how many features went out, a roadmap can stay full and busy while the result barely moves. Product managers often feel this first and try to push the question upward, but without leadership holding the same frame of reference the discussion stalls and the backlog keeps winning. The talk exists to close that gap in one sitting.
What we cover
- Where product-led growth actually works, and the conditions a product needs for it to pay off.
- Where it doesn’t, and why borrowing another company’s motion tends to disappoint.
- How to tell the difference for your own product: reading whether the work is moving a business outcome instead of counting what shipped.
- What changes when a team prioritises by expected impact, and what that asks of leadership.
The aim is plain: a leadership team and its product people leave with one reference point they can come back to in the next planning round.
Proof
We have given this kind of talk to leadership and product organisations before. At Scrive, a B2B SaaS company with around a hundred tech and product staff, roadmaps were full of stakeholder-ordered features and delivery went to plan, but whether the product moved NRR or activation went unanswered. Linda Eriksson gave a talk on outcome-based product development to the whole tech and product organisation, so leadership and the teams heard the same thing at the same time. Read the full account: Scrive: the PMs were already trying to drive the shift, they needed leadership on board.
